Arkansas Aerospace Education Center 501-376-IMAX 3301 East Roosevelt Admission: Theater - $6.75; Exhibits/Library - Free This is the perfect museum for that future astronaut or pilot. The museum displays replicas of historic airplanes and spacecraft. You can touch and learn about each one. Follow the evolution of flight.
The library has over 35,000 aerospace related books and numerous paintings. The library is also the home to the Jay Miller Collection, one of the most complete gatherings of aviation information and memorabilia outside the Smithsonian Institution.
The IMAX shows films about many subjects, not just aerospace. The theater has a six story high screen with a six-channel, 16,500 watt sound system. Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum 120 Riverfront Park Dr North Little Rock, AR Opening its doors to the public on May 15th, 2005 The Arkansas Inland Maritime Museum is centered around the submarine USS Razorback (SS 394) and soon to feature the historic tug USS Hoga (YT 146), AIMM is more than just a military museum. We have a research library, a theater, and a large museum area.
We will also feature the "Beacon of Peace and Hope" on our grounds and we will regularly feature displays and programs on the impact of maritime trade, the inland waterways system, the Arkansas River, and even Arkansas aquaculture. Find out more about the museum at the AIMM website.
Jacksonville Museum of Military History 100 Veterans Circle Jacksonville, AR (501) 241-1943 The purpose of the Jacksonville Museum of Military History is to foster an appreciation for the men and women who served our country and to ensure that the freedoms we enjoy are not taken for granted. It is also to educate the public on the important military and home front role played by our Community and the men and women of the armed services.
The Museum is located in the site which, in World War II was the location of the administration building of the Jacksonville Ordnance Plant. This site now has 4,500 square feet building, with an additional 10,000 square foot area of new construction behind it.
There are many permanent and special exhibits located in the Museum's galleries. In addition, there is a Museum Store, a media presentation room and projection room and a research/library room. For more information and photos of some exhibits at the museum check the JMMH website.

Located in the historic Tower Building of the Little Rock Arsenal in MacArthur Park--one of Central Arkansas's oldest surviving structures and the birthplace of one of this country's foremost military heroes, General Douglas MacArthur--the museum collects, preserves, and interprets our state's rich military past from its territorial period to the present.
Exhibits feature artifacts, photographs, weapons, documents, uniforms and other military items to vividly portray Arkansas's military history, at home and abroad. For tour information check the museums website.
