My latest 1/35 scale armor project has been the 39(H) 10.5cm LeFH18(Sf) auf
Geschutzwagen, a real mouthful that can be much more simply described as a German 10.5
cm (105mm) howitzer mounted on a captured French Hotchkiss (H-39) chassis.
Having built Trumpeter’s model into a reasonable facsimile of the real thing, I can say kit
suffers from a distressing paucity of positive locating devices. This should prove to be no
problem for modelers who have ever tackled any Russian kits, but it might prove to be
distressing for those who have lived on a steady diet of Tamiya offerings.
