IPMS Region VI Convention - PRAIRIE WIND 2014, May 16-17 Marriott Hotel & Event Center, Wichita, KS

Greetings & Salutations to all fellow Region 6 Clubs:
Air Capital IPMS Modelers wish to invite all Region 6 IPMS members to attend the IPMS Region VI Convention, PRAIRIE WIND 2014 being held May 16 & 17 at the Marriott Hotel & Event Center here in Wichita, KS.
We also invite ALL of the Chapters in Region 6 to join in participating directly with Air Capital Modelers through help and assistance side by side with our members in order to gain experience in assisting at a Regional level Convention which will boost members confidence in working at upper level shows, both Regional and National in the future!
Have your chapter's Fearless Leader or Chapter Contact contact me directly by replying to this email and see what your Chapter can do to assist with PRAIRIE WIND 2014 this year.
Also we are looking for a few good seminars, each seminar should be roughly 50 minutes long, so if you or one of your members OR if you know of a Vendor or Manufacturer that has a good one and wants to ‘Take their Show on the Road’ so to speak, contact us at contact@aircapitalipms.org let us know what the topic is and we’ll be sure to coordinate a time either Friday, one every hour from 1PM to 3PM times three (3) separate meeting rooms available which would be nine (9) different available seminar times or Saturday from 9AM to Noon and 1PM to 3PM times three (3) separate meeting rooms (Sedgewick, Topeka & Arkansas) which would be 18 different available seminars. If you want we can repeat any of the Friday Seminars again on Saturday as I’m sure you would have a different audience each day. We will reserve one of these times and rooms on Saturday at 1PM for a Regional meeting for all Chapter Representatives with Sean Glaspell, our Regional Coordinator.
Finally, please consider trophy sponsorship to help YOUR Region cover the cost of the trophies. Acrylic Trophies for the 1st, 2nd & 3rd place Category Awards will be used, which doesn’t include the Class & Special Awards and the Best-of-Show to be awarded as well.
Lastly updates are being added daily to the website at www.aircapitalipms.org and thanks for helping to make the Regional yours in 2014, during the 50th Anniversary of IPMS!
