CASM would like to thank Mike Rinaldi from Rinaldi Studios for sponsoring 202 Closed Top (Tracked) through WWII category. Mike is a good friend of CASM and the author of Tankart Volumes 1 and 2. I have recently purchased both of these volumes and have found them to be full of great information on "how to" and the thinking process behind the "how to" for the finishing of armor. The first volume covers German armor and the second covers the finishing of Allied armor, both from WWII. Check out his website at http://www.rinaldistudiopress.com/ . The volumes can be purchased directly from the website and Mike has developed a lay flat binding so you can put the book on your workbench and follow along the steps as you work on your finishes. I highly recommend these books!
The Scratching Post
The Scratching Post is the newsletter for the Central Arkansas Scale Modelers, the Black Cats, and is written by modelers to promote and expand the modeling hobby. Our goal is to develop an e-zine in which modeling activities in the central Arkansas area are shared but, also, topics germane to the modeling hobby are discussed. We have selected a blog format so that the publication is interactive and can be accessed daily. We desire contributions from modelers all over the world so we can cover topics that are often not covered in other publications. Most of all, we would like the blog to be informative and fun! Please post comments and submit articles for our publication.
