Library Display
Dave Stilwell has reserved the display cabinet at the Fletcher Library, in Little Rock, for June 1st. Members willing to display models should come to the library on June 1st with their models and retrieve the models at the end of the month. He will send out an email to club members discussing when to meet for set-up and take down times at the Library.
Pulaski Tech Contest
The Pulaski Tech Contest will be held on 4/21/12 at Pulaski Tech South. CASM members are encouraged to attend this contest and help out Davey and Ken. Davey reported that the show will open for venders at 8:00 AM with registration open at 9:00. The contest should last until 4:00 PM. There have been a wide assortment of items available for auction that include a Dremmel set, toolbox, Iwata airbrush, and a TV. There will also be a Make-n-take.
Scale Modelling World
Lloyd King presented a new website that he, Micelle Edwards, and others have put together. There idea is to incorporate Skype, model tutorials, and a very active forum. The website can be found at www.scalemodellingworld.com. A link to the website can also be found on the CASM website.
Club Group Build Theme” Made in the ‘60s
The group build is due at the June meeting.
Sproo-Do Show Flyers
Contest flyers are available for distribution. Flyers can be downloaded in Black and white and color. Please take the flyers to all of the contests that you attend between now and the contest.
Sponsorships
It is time to solicit sponsorships for the CASM contest. Sponsorship information may be found on the Website. Money obtained through sponsorships is the primary method of funding the CASM contest. Sponsors receive significant advertisement on the club website.

Demonstration
Rick Knapp presented his method for painting 1/35 scale figure heads.
Show-N-Tell
Rick Knapp: presented a Tamiya Mauder III project with a Verlinden interior set.
Ron Leker presented the Revell of Germany GTK Boxer (GTFz) and a WIP Hasegawa Maschinen Krieger Griffon.
Ken Childres presented Dragon Brumbar, Trumpeter M-51 Sherman for the ‘60s Group Build; and Trumpeter Russian ChTZ S-65.
Cliff Bullock presented a Miniart ZIS-2 Soviet 57mm Anti-Tank gun; Soviet Field Howitzer Su-122 (M-30); and a product: SNO-TEX that he used to create snow on a diorama.
Brent Bristow presented a Vulcan Shuttle he intends to build.
Ken Faucett presented a WIP of the Revell Ford ’48 convertible and then described the considerable kitbashing he planning to do.
Ray Smith presented a 1/144 scale Spad and described the minutia of detail he included on the very small paper airplane.
Tom Brown presented a WIP of the Hobbycraft of Canada F7U-3 Culass that he bought from Gary Johnson’s stash and is building as a tribute to Gary.
Matt Bond presented the Tamya M-10 tank destroyer.
