Build Log of Hobby Boss WR360 in 1/72 scale
By Richard Geraci
This is just a little build log on the Hobby Boss WR360 locomotive in 1/72 scale [wr360]. This is a little German WWII locomotive that was used as a switcher in rail yards. Construction is straight forward with good part fit and no ejector pin marks in visible areas. I have left off the wheels, connecting rods, bumpers, cab, and some other parts to make painting easier [fig 1 – 3]. You may have a different approach but for me, this works well. In any case, this is a small kit and not at all a complicated build. I then added the cab, bumpers, ladders, etc to finish it off (fig 4-9). For a sense of scale, here it is next to an AA battery [10]. Just 1.5” wide x 2” high x 4.5” long. Sure won't take up much space on your model shelf. I built it over a weekend as a break away from some more complicated builds.
