The meeting was called to order by President Kenneth Childres at 10:00 A.M.
Announcements:
Show Report: Ron Leker and Brent Bristow gave a report on Wonderfest, which they attended along with Rusty Nail, Kenneth Childres, and Jeffrey Griffin. The show featured 668 models of high caliber work, and Rusty Nail was a judge for the show. Ron Leker and Kenneth Childres received awards at this show.
T-Shirts: Ken presented two proposed designs for the new t-shirt and the members voted on the designs.
Officer Elections: Nominations for officers were taken, and will be voted upon during the August meeting. The nominations are:

Vice-President-Rick Knapp, nominated by Tom Brown via email
Secretary-Matt Bond, nominated by Ron Leker
Club Contact-Mike Warren, nominated by Brent Bristow

Show Coordinator-Brianna Childress proposed that she and Ron Leker serve as co-show coordinators
Parent/Child Build Day: This event was held at 2:00 following the meeting.
Group Build: The group build, D-Day, was due today. The theme included both historical models related to D-Day, and models with the letter D in the title. After voting, there was a 3-way tie for 1st place:

The next group build will be due during the December meeting. The theme is snow/frozen.
Demo: John Montgomery demonstrated how to create asphalt using spackling material, sand, and paint.

Cliff Bullock presented a Russian military diorama.
Brian Elliott presented a D-Day observation post.
Noel Lawson presented an Indian Trapper, an Apache Warrior, a WWI British Artillery Man, and a small diorama caledl “Bat and the Boys” based on Bat Masterson.
Rick Knapp presented an M4 Sherman, and a WIP hall track and figure for a diorama.
Mac McGinnis presented a WIP of Bronco’s J-10s.
Daris Long presented a Panzer IV, a Panzer IV Aufs. J, a German Tiger Ace figure, and a Joachim Piper figure.
Ken Faussett presented an AMT ’53 Ford WIP with modified engine.
Richard Buzbee presented a Creature from the Black Lagoon figure, a Centaur WIP and an SU122.
Ron Leker presented a Black Moth figure.
Roy Elliott presented a beach bunker D-Day diorama.
John Mongomery presented an M10 Wolverine, and a Wespe WIP.
Mike Warren presented a Russian KV-2 WIP and a German Sturmgeschutz III with zimmerit.
