Youth Model Building Program Information

MAKE-N-TAKE
A program made available through a partnership with the IPMS/USA, the Make and Take is a program that allows kids to build what in essence is their very first model kit and offers the participants their first look into this wonderful hobby. It is usually 3 to 4 hours in length. Under the instruction and guidance from fellow CASM and IPMS/USA members, participants will complete one model kit.
YOUTH MODEL BUILDING COURSE
The primary goal of this program is to introduce scale modeling to a new generation of modelers. Designed as an entry level introduction into the world of scale model building, students are given instruction in basic kit construction techniques. Proper tool use and safety rules and guidelines are heavily stressed. The course is approximately 12 to 16 weeks with weekly sessions ranging from 30 to 45 minutes in length. At completion of course, the students will have completed 4 to 5 model kits.
Both programs offer limitless possibilities and can be utilized in many different environments ranging from schools to model contests. For additional details or any questions regarding these programs, please contact Ron or Joshua by means of the Club Contact at [email protected]
