Revell 1/72 SR-71A

Here is my build of the SR-71A. This is a 1/72 scale kit by Revell. The thing I like about this kit is it’s a top and bottom assembly so it’s easier to hide the seam lines. The main problem I had with this kit was where the nose cone fit on to the main body of the fuselage. It had a pretty big hump in it to where I had to fill it in. I had to get it fixed to where it was seamless. The whole time I was referencing photos of the real planes to make sure I got it right. Overall not too bad a kit. I used Mission Models Black Primer, Tamiya Semi-Gloss Black, and then Tamiya TS-80. For the decals I applied them using Microsol and then cleared over everything with more TS-80.
