Nov. 10 Crestwood Elementary Class
The kids were able by class end to finish their A-10s. They were all excited to have another model kit to take home and show their families and friends. With 3 kits under their belt, these kids are eagerly awaiting next week’s class.
Over the last several classes, the kids have received alot of much needed help and guidance from Ken, Bri, and Jeff. Ron & I want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all three of them for what they have giving of themselves and to the kids. We couldn’t have done it without them. Thanks guys!!!!!!!!

Oct. 28 Crestwood Elementary Class
Continuing their work on the A10s. Most definitely the biggest class to date. Not an empty seat in the classroom. Several parents stopped in to observe and we received great feedback from them and the kids.
Oct. 21 Crestwood Elementary Class
Another full class with special guests. The kids started their third build of the program, the Revell A-10. We had a new student join the class this week!!!!!!!
Oct. 14 Crestwood Elementary Class
Another great class! With additional guidance from Ken & Bri Childres and Jeff Griffin the kids were able to complete their cars by the end of the class. We even had several parents stop by and get involved. All the kids done a excellent job on the second build of the program. Well done!
Oct. 7 Crestwood Elementary Class
We started off the class with Dakota Leker giving the other kids a recap of the prior Saturday’s model show and contest put on by CASM. Dakota shared with the rest of the class the awards that he had received at the show and received many congratulations from the others. Thanks for sharing Dakota!
The kids then went right to work on building their cars and by the end of the class we had made it to the half-way point in the build. We picked up three new students to the class this week. The program’s definitely growing and judging from the responses Ron & I have been receiving from the kids, parents, and the school administrators we expect it to continue to do so. We’ve got a lot in store and more to come so stay tuned!
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions give either Ron or myself an email or call.

Sept. 30 Crestwood Elementary Class
Taking a break from the rigors of model building, the kids enjoyed listening as Master Sergeant Bobby Dugger gave a captivating presentation on the history of the Arkansas Air National Guard. After discussing the Guard’s history, Master Sergeant Dugger showed the kids a few of his kits that he had built to showcase “history in miniature”. After the presentation, he handed out a few treats including a very interesting booklet covering the 154th Observation Squadron. Also along for the ride were Ken Childres and Brianna Martin, who took time out of their very busy schedules to stop by and lend a hand.
Ron & I wish to express our “special thanks” to our three special guests to the class. The kids, parents and teachers all had a fantastic time

Sept. 23 Crestwood Elementary Class
The kids started their second kit of the program, the Revell Camaro Concept Car.
Sept. 16 Crestwood Elementary Class
This past Thursday the kids at Crestwood Elementary finished up their Revell F-14 Tomcats. The kids built their kits over the last 3 class sessions that included instruction in basic model construction techniques, history and research of the subject, and safety rules and guidelines when using modeling tools.
We’ve had 25+ kids each week and are receiving very positive feedback from the kids, parents, and teachers alike. Ron & I are very proud of what these young ones have accomplished in such a short time and the overwhelming responses to the program we both have received.
Ron & I wish to extend a very special “Thank You” to Jeff Griffin & Lloyd King who took time out of their busy schedules to stop by the school this past Thursday to help us out with the kids and for all the others who have helped out by graciously giving their donations to help us fund this special endeavor. “Thanks” guys from the both of us.
If you would like more information on the program itself or would like to volunteer to help us out in the classroom, send either Ron or myself an email or give us a call.

Searcy Model Class #1
The model building class in Searcy yesterday was a huge success! We had a great turnout, 16 kids and 3 adults. Everyone
had a great time and all of them completed their very first model kit. Ron handled the aircraft while Ken handled the autos.
Chance & I helped out wherever we were needed but I spent most of my time taking pictures. There were 5 that really shined
and stood out from the rest. I think with some continued encouragment from us that we can gain some new model builders. I
will work on getting the pictures posted here in the next day or so. We were all very proud of these kids and what they accomplished.
I would like to express my thanks and gratitude to Ron & Ken for driving up to Searcy in all the rain to help with these kids.
Many thanks also to Mr. Steve & Mr. Jimmy for their assistance in helping me with all the details and planning over the last
several weeks. Guys, I couldn't have done this without you! I feel that we really made a difference for these kids up here.
